After School Programs Manager

Position Overview

The After-School Programs Manager is responsible for the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of all afterschool programs and services.

Essential Job Functions

  • Work with school districts and partner organizations to improve and expand program sites
  • Develop and implement educational curriculums at all program sites
  • Develop and implement a system to recruit, train, and evaluate site managers & tutors
  • Establish and manage all operational and safety guidelines of the after-school programs
  • Create and manage a thorough system of client data and programming objectives
  • Develop and implement a system of monitoring and evaluation
  • Maintain and up-to-date inventory of educational supplies and materials
  • Develop and implement student performance system to ensure program effectiveness
  • Work with other agencies to increase program quality and effectiveness
  • Maintain appropriate financial records for all programs and activities
  • Oversee the department; ensuring systems operate smoothly and within budget
  • Continuously explore options to improve and expand the afterschool programs

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in related field
  • 2-3 years of similar or related educational experience
  • Strong leadership qualities and effective communicator
  • Excellent management and organizational skills

Lead Client Services Manager

Position Overview

The Lead Client Services Manager is responsible for the development, planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of all client assistance and case management programs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide exceptional, effective, and intense case management services to clients
  • Actively assist 15-25 clients at any given time during the program
  • Oversee activities of all other Client Services Managers
  • Develop, implement, and manage all activities related to client assistance program
  • Work with partner agencies to improve and grow services provided to refugees
  • Communicate with other agencies regarding client assistance and referral programs
  • Develop policies and procedures to manage and improve department functioning
  • Provide Executive Director with regular updates regarding client activities and services
  • Ensure all Client Services staff are appropriately trained and performance measures are in place
  • Coordinate special projects and develop material for development team as needed
  • Maintain and update departmental expense report and other financial documents
  • Meet regularly with clients to receive feedback and provide support
  • Maintain updated records of client information and services provided
  • Attend quarterly consortium meetings and keep up-to-date on incoming refugee populations
  • Maintain updates from international, federal, state, and local level on policies related to refugees
  • Continuously explore ways to improve and expand the client services program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
  • 2-3 years of similar or related professional experience
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communicator
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with the refugee population a plus
  • Foreign languages a plus (Arabic, Burmese, Spanish)
